EFCT Extended Core Skills 2025 with EFT Trainers Ryan Rana and Silvina Irwin
June 26 @ 9:00 am - June 28 @ 5:00 pm
REGISTRATION OPEN SOON!
Core Skills is advanced training in EFT focused exclusively on working with couples.
This Core Skills we welcome Certified EFT Trainers Ryan Rana, PhD, LMFT, LPC from Arkansas for modules 1 and 2, and Silvina Irwin, LMFT from California for modules 3 and 4. We are planning for all training days to be in person in Spokane, Washington.
Learning methods may include some or all of the following: watching pre-recorded videos on your time from the comfort of your own home; didactic instruction; live sessions conducted by a trainer; watching video recordings of the trainer’s own sessions with clients. Included in this Core Skills advanced training is the opportunity to show video tape of a recorded client session of yours to one of our EFT Supervisors, and received growth feedback to apply to your work. Bringing your own video to view is necessary to meet the Advanced Externship requirements and to receive your certificate of completion from EWNIEFT.
Our trainers will be assisted by our EWNIEFT community of volunteers who are EFT trained therapists, certified EFT therapists and certified EFT supervisors. The amazing, dedicated team of volunteers walk alongside the participants in their EFT Core Skills learning journey. We aim to model learning EFT together – and not alone – supported by our trainers and our clinical team. Between modules, there may be opportunities for gathering online for informal group consultation with an EWNIEFT Supervisor or Supervisor-in-Training to support your learning.
This is an official 48 Hours Core Skills endorsed by the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT). An ICEEFT-endorsed externship is a required prerequisite for Core Skills. At the completion of the 48 hours and showing your own work to a Supervisor or Supervisor in Training, EWNIEFT will provide a certificate of completion.

WHO IS THIS TRAINING FOR?
Core Skills training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is designed for mental health professionals who seek a deeper mastery of EFT for couples therapy. This includes psychologists, psychoanalysts, psychiatrists, psychotherapists, social workers, marriage and family therapists, counselors, and specialists in abuse and addiction. Participants are required to be a member of a mental health professional organization and currently working, or in the process of training to work, with couples in their clinical practice. The program equips participants with advanced skills in applying EFT therapeutic techniques and interventions, essential for those on the path to becoming certified EFT therapists.
